Arggh! This blog thing is driving me nuts! I had decided to use the mac version so I could work on it when we don't have an internet connection. Unfortunately I didn't realize it needed to be saved, so all my work, (with pictures!) is gone. So I will attempt to try again. It's a good thing this a six week long trip! I should be grateful, it really has been a wonderful trip and that's why I haven't found the time to blog more.

We're in Mt. Prospect, Illinois now. We've been here since Sunday. Our motorhome is parked in our friend's driveway, (actually their neighbors, thank goodness for Midwestern hospitality!) Sunday we arrived just in time for a Father's Day BBQ, yum! Monday, Erin and I started the day with her personal trainer, she's had the same trainer for seven years! We took the kids to see Toy Story 3. I got to go with Reilly to her guitar lesson, (watch out Taylor Swift!) We rounded out the day, (and our bellies!) with Chicago style pizza for dinner and Aidan's t-ball practice at the park.

Yesterday, Tuesday, we hit the local amusement park, Six Flags Great America! Needless to say, the kids had a blast! Luckily we were able to beat the heat with a couple of hours in the waterslide portion of the park.

Today, we are headed to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, where Joe has rented a pontoon boat for the day.
